Adelyn isn't quite old enough to appreciate the massive amount of snow. She can't really walk in it and it distracted by all her snow gear. I imagine a year from now she'll be begging for a snow storm like this.
We did our best to keep busy through the day. We watched the movie, Up, together. I think the only reason it kept her attention is because it had lots of dogs and balloons in it. I loved watching it with her even though she pretty much had no clue what was going on.
One of her favorite things as of late is playing with bubbles. We set her up to splash around with utensils in the kitchen sink. She loves it!
Here are a few pictures from our window.
The second round of snow we got was BEAUTIFUL. It was wet and heavy so it stuck to everything. I wish I would have gotten more pictures but you can get the idea by this picture of the tree in our front yard. Luckily we didn't lose any power. I heard a lot of people did because of fallen branches.
The roads are clear now but we are still have a lot of snow that needs to melt. Our back yard is going to be a swamp for weeks... ugh.
