Thanksgiving Review

We had a great Thanksgiving in St. Louis this year! Adelyn was the star of the show everywhere we went. A lot of Austin's side of the family haven't been around her much so you can imagine their delight in all of her new quirks and oozing personality.

Remember the turkey onesie I made her a while back?

Well, little lady worked that outfit like it was her job. By the end of the day, the turkey feathers were covered in drool, milk, and bits of sweet potato that I let her sample from the table.

Speaking of the dinner table, my mother in law had a super crafty idea for the seating plan. Check these out!

You know those caps on laundry detergents?

Well, she wrapped them with fabric, filled them with jewel-rocks, spray painted straws green to use as the flower holder, and had a friend make personalized names for each cup. How cool!

In my down time, I may have done a bit of crafting of my own involving a foam wreath and lima beans. More to come on that in future posts...

Lets see, what else?

Oh, we discovered Adelyn's die-hard passion for pop-up books. You better believe those are on the Christmas list. :)

We were cracking up as we watched her lunge her whole body towards the book as we turned the pages.

I think that about sums things up! Hope your Thanksgiving was great!
