Birthday Factoids

Random facts about my birthday:

It was yesterday (November 7th).

Last year I had a 25 hour birthday. Thank you daylight savings time. Not this year. In fact, daylight savings time has been the culprit of waking Adelyn up earlier than usual. Hello 5 am! So I started my birthday very early.

My mom came in town for the day. She spoiled me.

Austin and I went to breakfast at one of my favorite places, Uprise Bakery.

My mom and I went back to Uprise Bakery for lunch.

I went mall walking. By myself. Sounds sad but I really wanted to go for a walk and the weather was icky.

My mom treated me to a trip to Sams Club to stock up on goodies. We had to get a second cart.

We finally caught the mouse that has been nibbling on my baking products. It didn't even know what hit him. Literally. Chauncey heard it and ran away from it. Dweeb.

The hubster got me a super thoughtful gift. Proud of him. Even though he was spreading rumors that I was turning 30.

Adelyn didn't get me anything for my birthday.  I told her all I wanted from her was a nap longer than 45 minutes. She didn't comply. She felt bad and claimed she doesn't know even what "birthday" means. Excuses, excuses.

And the biggest news of the day... I'm getting a Silhouette machine! It's basically the crafter's dream machine! Oh the potential this thing has!

Overall, it was a great day. I loved hearing from friends and family throughout the day.
