As you can imagine, I don't have a ton of time to write a thorough blog post about our first few days home. So I will update you about our world in a Cliff Notes version.
My mother is a saint. In fact both my parents are for helping out but my mom was here for 3 days and her presence was comforting, helpful, useful, encouraging, and so much more.
Every night Adelyn is up from about 1:30am to 5:30am. Needless to say, we are sleepy-eyed around here.
I got to have my first glass of red wine a few days ago. Well, half a glass. Can't have too much because I'm still am on pain killers. But it was oh-so-wonderful.
Austin got to experience some projectile poop last night. In fact, Adelyn is quite fond of pooping while Austin is changing her. It's funny to hear the conversations he has with her while it's happening.
We have constant conversations about pacifier use. Can't quite figure out how much to use it.
Trying to get out of the house at least once a day. Getting a little stir crazy but somehow the days fly by.
It's hard not to take pictures of everything.
It's amazing how I can just sit and stare at her and not get bored.
Loving visitors. It's a breath of fresh air.
I have a dresser AND closet full of clothes for this girl but only a few outfits actually fit right now.
Dogs are doing great with Adelyn. They seem to accepted her into our pack.
With our down time, we have started watching Modern Family. How have I not known about this show?? Stinking hilarious.
Adelyn is already smiling. We got quite a few smiles as I was saying her name to her tonight. She may have been passing gas or something but I'm convinced she was responding to the sound of my voice. :)
This blog post has taken me 12 hours to complete.
Here are the latest shots of the little lady...

I fall more in love with this little lady every day.
